Arise and shine!!!

 God says: arise and shine, for the glory of the Lord is upon you. This is found in Isaiah 60:1. It is time to dust off the limitations, the anxieties, the fear, the depression, the doubt and leave everything unto Him. Life is made up of different seasons which serve different purposes. Just like with the four seasons in life, where we go through the harsh winter, so do we with our lives. These seasons can feel like we are buried, overlooked, unappreciated but actually it is a season where God grows our strength, our faith, our patience and any other character that is required for the purposes He has for our lives. Instead of seeing it as being "buried", look at it in a different perspective. Similar to a seed that gets "buried" into the ground, it is actually planted, awaiting the process to turn in into which ever plant it is meant to be. Same applies to us, we are planted to endure the process that refines and prepares us for the work God has in store for us.


The Bible tells us to rejoice when going through trials. James 1:2-4 says "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

Trust God's timing. When He says it's time to arise, then arise and allow God's glory to shine through you.

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
