If God be for us, who can be against us?

Being children of God, doesn't mean things happens easily, in fact, the bible indicates that God never promised that we would not face trials; however, He promised to be with us through those trials. Romans 8:31 says: "What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?" This gives assurity that no matter what challenge we may face, God is on our side and will secure victory for us. 

Every storm, every adversity is an opportunity for God to show off strong, in our situation. It might seem daunting, as though there is no way out, but when the time is right, God intervenes. Exodus 14:14 says: "The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” This scripture reminds us of what God did for the children of Israel, when they were headed to the promised land and Pharaoh was catching up with them. God performed the most incredible miracle for them, that made it clear that God was with them (Israelites). In the same way God was with them, He is with us too, fighting every battle for us. The Lord is our doorkeeper

 A concept that we might find hard to accept, but it is true, God is our door keeper. This means He controls the doors that opens and those that shuts in our lives. Sometimes we can see an opportunity that we might think is lucrative and is meant for us, but only to find that it might not end well at some point. In that case, God closes such doors; painful as it may be, but we ought to accept, as we might not know what God is protecting us from. However be assured that God does open doors as well, should He decide that a particular opportunity belongs to you, it doesn't matter who thinks you don't deserve it, or don't qualify for it, He will orchestrate things to favor you. Be joyful

Nehemiah 8:10-12 Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing   prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy   of the   Lord   is your strength.”  The Levites calmed all the people, saying, “Be still, for this is a holy day. Do not grieve.”  Then all the people went away to eat and drink, to send portions of food and to celebrate with great joy,   because they now understood the words that had been made known to them. Few key take-aways from this passage: people gathered to listen to the word of God, where the law of Moses was read out to them. The name of the Lord was greatly praised and people responded by surrendering to God, lifting their hands up, worshiping. After this, the people were touched by the word and started crying.
