If God be for us, who can be against us?

Being children of God, doesn't mean things happens easily, in fact, the bible indicates that God never promised that we would not face trials; however, He promised to be with us through those trials. Romans 8:31 says: "What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?" This gives assurity that no matter what challenge we may face, God is on our side and will secure victory for us. 

Every storm, every adversity is an opportunity for God to show off strong, in our situation. It might seem daunting, as though there is no way out, but when the time is right, God intervenes. Exodus 14:14 says: "The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” This scripture reminds us of what God did for the children of Israel, when they were headed to the promised land and Pharaoh was catching up with them. God performed the most incredible miracle for them, that made it clear that God was with them (Israelites). In the same way God was with them, He is with us too, fighting every battle for us. The battle belongs to the Lord...

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
