God is able to do it for us

Thenbook of 2 Kings 20:1-6 tells us of king Hezekiah who fell ill and the Lord sent His prophet Isaiah to tell him to prepare as he wasn't going to recover but will die. King Hezekiah faced the wall and cried to the Lord, reminding Him of how much he's been a faithful servant. The Lord heard him and sent the prophet back to tell him that He has heard his cry and would let him live another 15 years. That was amazing!

This story shows us that the Lord has mercy for us, He sees our cries and is able to help us in time of need. He is able to turn things around, in our favour.

Now as we enter 2022, may we be encouraged to ask Him for His intervention, in our situations. He is able to do it for us. Surrender all your plans to Him and align with His will for your life. We could never go wrong. Trust in the Lord with all your heart (Book of Proverbs 5).

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
