It's time to prepare for 2022

 As the year 2021 draws to the end, I pray you will find time to reflect on the year it was. Thank God for all that has been, good and bad (remember Romans 8:28- He will work out ALL things for our good). May we show gratitude on His mercy on us, keeping and guarding us through the turmoil. It is also time to plan and prepare for the following year, trusting Him with our plans and praying for wisdom to ensure that they align with God's will, for our lives. Proverbs 16:9 reminds us of this: "The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps." The will of God will prevail.

The bible in Habakkuk 2:2-3 urges us to write down our plan/vision:  "And the Lord answered me: 'Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay." Therefore, as we prepare for 2022, with our wishes and plans, let us put them down as confirmation, entrusting the plans to God and ask for wisdom on how to achieve them.

May 2022 be a year of prosperity, health and joy. May the good Lord shine His face upon you and be gracious to you (Numbers 6:24-26). Happy New Year!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
