If you want to soar like an eagle, put your trust in the Lord

 Isaiah 40:30-31

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Life activities get us tired in one point or the other. Stress can get us weary and tired. Worry can wear us off. All these are associated with what can put us in a state of weariness. Weariness leads to less productivity and less passion. This bible verse gives us a remedy on how we can counteract this weariness by putting our hope in the Lord. The Lord is able to renew our strengths. Nehemiah 8:10 says: "...Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” The Lord is the source of our strength.

Verse 31 of Isaiah 40 shows the benefits of finding our strength in the Lord, that we will soar on wings like eagles, we will run and not grow weary and also when expected to faint, we will still be able to walk. That's amazing! We need to put our trust in the Lord in order to be charged with new strength to tackle our tasks and assignments that we are awarded.

May we continue putting our trust in Him and enjoy the benefits that comes with it. Amen!
