Jesus rules and reigns

 Ephesians 1:21-24 

Far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over everything for the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way.

Jesus sacrificed His life for us, He laid His life down. He was bruised and beaten, put to shame, spat on for our transgressions (Isaiah 53:3-5). It is thus that God lifted Jesus up and seated Him on the throne and God put all things under His feet and made Him the head over the church. This shows the authority given to Jesus, He rules, He reigns. Amen.

 1 Peter 3:18 Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but He died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but He was raised to life in the Spirit. The recollection about Jesus, is one of the most powerful  story ever. His life story has impacted humanity so much, we just find ourselves in awe and feeling privileged . Jesus died for us, sinners, in order to bring us safely home, to our Father, how amazing is that! We have peace bacause of what Christ has done for us...

 Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Peace is everything to me, when there's something not right in my spirit, I become uncomfortable, unsettled and unhappy. Which is why it is so pleasing to hear that we have been made right with God by faith, by an act of Jesus obeying and seeing it through for Him to be crucified like that, has made us righteous with God and He is pleased with us. This verse tells us that we have peace with God, what a relief this is! No longer do we have to worry about the mistakes we made and the shame they brought us, but because Jesus' blood cleansed us completely, we can have peace in our hearts and just enjoy our relationship with our Father. Don't conform to the world standards...

 Romans 12:2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. As the body of Christ, we are meant not to conform to the standards, norms and behaviours of this world, which could lead us straight to the path of unrighteousness. But we are meant to follow the example set by Christ, as our great Shepherd. By so doing, we are meant to lead others to Christ by our behaviours and the way we live life. Jesus as our example, has set for us the standard of living, which  is totally different from the world. For example, the world says be selfish and look out for yourself and don't share with others to preserve your resources.
