God knew you in your mother's womb

 Isaiah 44:1-3 

But now listen, Jacob, my servant, Israel, whom I have chosen. This is what the Lord says— He who made you, who formed you in the womb, and who will help you: Do not be afraid, Jacob, my servant, Jeshurun (Israel), whom I have chosen. For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.

The Lord is gracious and merciful. He knew us whilst we were in our mother's womb. Jeremiah 1:5 says that He called us, thus, He gave us our identity and gave us a purpose to fulfill. He formed us for His will and purposes. 

His call to you now is not to be afraid nor to remain dry ground. He wants us to be evergreen (Psalm 1:3). Where there's dry ground, the Lord will pour out His water and make it fruitful again.

Lastly, He will pour out His Spirit on your offspring, who will be blessed. That  is awesome!. Not only is God interested in you, but your descendants as well. Being saved, has a beautiful impact on your family who will find salvation as a result of yours. Never to be taken for granted...

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing .
