God sees you!
Luke 15:1-7
Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.” Then Jesus told them this parable: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
Jesus is our greatest Teacher. God sent Him to show us the way, to lead the way. In this passage, Jesus was teaching about the principle of losing something valuable. In this case, He was referring to a lost sheep. Out of a 100 sheep that the shepherd has, should one get lost, he would leave the 99 and go look for the one that got lost. When found, he will celebrate and even call neighbors to rejoice with him. This is the same with us, when one gets out of the way (due to sin), God takes delight in going after that person who lost his/her way, and when they repent and come back to His kingdom, God rejoices, heaven rejoice!
Sometimes we may feel like a "face in crowd" where no one notices you because there so many of us. But not to God, He sees each and everyone of us, at all times (He is omnipresence). He cares about each one of us, as if we are the only ones that matters. The bible tells us that if He cares so much about the sparrows, so much so that not even one dies without His knowledge, how much more does He care for us, as humans? This is found in the book of Matthew 10:29. Never forget that! The enemy might want to make you feel alone, like no one cares, but that's not true. God loves and cares for you, always.
