Seek Him with all your heart

Jeremiah 29:13-24

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”

Our desire should be to seek the Lord, seek His will and plans for our lives. Seek what He expects of us, in our daily lives. Basically wanting to know more about Him and the desire to build a solid relationship with Him. In Him we find life, eternal life that is. In Him we find freedom, Jesus died so we can be free, free to live the life that God has in store for us, not in bondage, not making ends meet but a life in abundance (John 10:10); one that brings honour and glory to Him, by also being a blessing to others. In Him we find provision- God shows us how much we mean to Him, that we mean more than the sparrows, which not even one falls to the ground and He doesn't know of. In Him we find healing- He is the greatest healer. The blood of Jesus and the stripes He endured on the cross, secured our healing (Isaiah 54:17). In Him we find revelation of what is and is to come.

God says in this verse that when we seek Him with all of our heart, we will find Him and He will release us and bring us back to our rightful positions. Be curious and engage Him on where that is for you. Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you.
