Sing to Him a new song!

 Psalm 33:1-4 

Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise Him. Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy. For the word of the Lord is right and true; He is faithful in all he does.

It is fitting to sing to the King of kings, the Mighty One, the One and Only God. He deserves all the honour and glory. We sing not because the promises have manifested, but we sing because we trust His word, that whatever He promised, shall come to pass (no matter what!). He's not man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19). We sing to give praise for what He's already done for us, for waking us up and providing for us. For being a rock that we can stand on, for being the lifter of our heads. We sing because of who He is, not that we've seen Him physically, but because He's works is undeniable, marvelous and praise-worthy.

Sing to Him a new song! A new song for a new thing that He said He's making...

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. However, God understands that we are not perfect (and we should never pressurize ourselves to be perfect), but with the guidance we have, we know that where we fall short, we can run to the Lord without guilt or shame, knowing that He is our Father who loves us and is willing to help us every step of t

Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
