We have peace bacause of what Christ has done for us...

 Romans 5:1

Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.

Peace is everything to me, when there's something not right in my spirit, I become uncomfortable, unsettled and unhappy. Which is why it is so pleasing to hear that we have been made right with God by faith, by an act of Jesus obeying and seeing it through for Him to be crucified like that, has made us righteous with God and He is pleased with us. This verse tells us that we have peace with God, what a relief this is! No longer do we have to worry about the mistakes we made and the shame they brought us, but because Jesus' blood cleansed us completely, we can have peace in our hearts and just enjoy our relationship with our Father. Isaiah 44:22 says "I have swept away your sins like a cloud. I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist. Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free.” Isn't this wonderful, that the Lord has swept away our sins and scattered our offenses and never to be seen no more. He says we are free!

Let us embrace what Christ has done for us, allow the Lord to take away our transgressions and let us live a life of freedom. No more shame, no more condemnation. When the devil comes and whisper about your sins, remind him of what Christ has done for you, that you are free and no longer bound by sin. It is true. Believe and receive this wonderful gift. You are truly loved...

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
