The Love of Christ for You

 Ephesians 3:17-21 

"...And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen."

This is just a reminder, as we begin the month of love on how much God loves you. This verse seeks to describe how much you are loved, like truly loved. We are urged to grasp this concept of how deep God's love is for us. It is so wide, so high and so deep we cannot even attempt to measure it. We know this because He already sent His one and only beloved Son, to die for us (John 3:16), so we may live. So we may have life eternally, have a close relationship with God and experience His love first-hand. How wonderful it is to live at this moment...But of course it is a gift, we all have a choice, whether to receive it or not.

Verse 20 further tells us that God is able to do things for us more than we can ask or imagine according to His power at work within us. My prayer is that we allow Him to work in and through us. To be His instruments and make a mark. He created us for specific reasons, purposes that we might not even realize. What's great is that for that purpose He has for each one of us, He's already equipped us with talents, skills, gifts and connections to make work. We need only follow His lead and say "Yes"!
