There's a call...

Revelations 3:20 

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

An invitation from God, to have a personal relationship with us. God created man to have a relationship with, to fellowship with. However, sin came and created distance between man and God. But it doesn't end there... then Jesus came and died for our sin, so we may have life, eternal and abundant life. Through this act, the veil was torn and man could go directly to His throne. 

We are now priviledged to have such access to God, that whenever we need Him, we just call on Him directly, without a 3rd party intervening on our behalf. Eventhough for us to have such a relationship, we need to answer His call. He's standing waiting for us to call Him into our hearts, into our lives, so that He may dwell in us and have that close relationship with us. 

So, will you answer the call???

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
