With God, we are the majority

 2 Kings 6:15-16 

When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. “Oh no, my Lord! What shall we do?” the servant asked. “Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”

We are reminded here that when trouble comes, God should be our first port of call, our go to place to seek advise and get guidance. In this passage the children of God were under attack unexpectedly and they needed to act. In such situations, it is easy to give in to fear, particularly when you feel outnumbered, when the enemy seems to have an advantage over you. However, we need to remember that greater is He that is in us that he that is in the world (1 John 4:4); by default that puts you in the majority. Remember God is powerful and is able to do the impossible. He is able to do all things, thus, with Him by our side, we are victorious.

Romans 8:31 says: What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Keep this in mind and do call on Him where help is needed. He is dependable...
