You have a purpose

 Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

God created us for a particular purpose in mind, that fits His bigger plan. His plans are for our good, ones to proper us and give us hope and a future.

What purpose does God have for me? You may ask. We find an explanation in Jeremiah 1:5 that says: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” This tells us that before we took our first breath, God had already set our destiny before us, He called us for a particular purpose, an assignment that He has given us to fulfill. He appointed us- this means, the position that God gives you, is not decided upon only now, it was long decided and it was settled. Weather others feel you don't qualify for it, it doesn't matter. The one who appointed you whilst you were in your mother's womb, had already chosen and ordained you for that position. Walk with your head held up high. You might not know all the answers, but the One who appointed you, does. It is for that reason that you are in a position that you feel ill-equipped, so that you may rely on Him (not your own understanding). That's when we tend to do supernatural things, achieve way more than what we may think or imagine, because of the One that lives in you. Never take that for granted.

1 Corinthians 12:12-27 explains to us why God created us different from one another. Just like a human body, that has many different parts that each perform a unique function, so do we. We are designed specifically for that purpose He chose us for. Which is why, you cannot copy the next person, you will fail. That is not your calling, it will be beyond your means. But the one He created you for, will come easy and effortless. Things will just fall into place. Then you know you are aligned with your purpose.

If you are still searching for yours, keep praying about it, God will reveal it when the time is right. In the meantime, keep going. Do what you do best, where you are positioned. Show gratitude and learn as much as you can. It's part of preparation...
