Do not withhold good from others

 Proverbs 3:27 

Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.

We are commissioned to do good for others, where it is in our power to do so. Being a blessing to others is part of our DNA. Remember, Jesus as our example and model of how we should lead our lives, showed us in many ways this very principle. By being kind, patient, compassionate. Those are some of the characteristics that proved to us how we should treat one another. Jesus washed His disciples' feet because He loved them and even instructed them to do the same for one another (John 13:1-17). 

Acts 20:35 says: "In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” When you give, God sees and will reward you. Give with a cheerful heart, not with a motive of receiving something back, but as something that pleases God. 

Be a blessing, serve others, bring relief to someone or simply bring a smile on someone's face. It goes a long way...

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
