Tie loyalty and faithfulness around your neck, always!
Proverbs 3:3
Never let go of loyalty and faithfulness. Tie them around your neck; write them on your heart.
In the times that we are live in, where corruption and shady dealings are the order of the day, the Lord still calls on us to be loyal and faithful. These are so important, the Lord urges us to tie them around our necks and write them on our hearts This means, wherever we may be, whatever we may be doing, we are expected to continue being loyal and faithful; no matter the deal being big or small, be loyal and stay faithful.
I see this as a test from the Lord, where He would allow temptations to come in different ways, to see if we would be moved by an attractive shady deal. If all else fails, and we don't know what is right and what is wrong, God is just a "phone call" away. He expects us to rely on Him. Remember, He did say that in our weaknesses, He is strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10 says: "That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong." Therefore, ask Him for His grace to help you make the right decisions.
Doing the right thing is never easy, but it has rewards. Colossians 3:23 says: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,". In this case, we are not expected to cheat to get God's work done, no, He will provide and He will make a way. Also, He will reward hard work and diligence; loyalty and faithfulness.
