When God sends you...

Exodus 3:9-10

And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them. So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.”

In this passage, Moses was having an encounter with God, where God drew his attention through the burning bush. Moses then discovered his assignment, that God wanted him to lead His children out of bondage, out of oppression and lack to a land that is spacious and dripping with honey and milk. This seemed unexpected and way-out of reach for Moses, as he saw himself as an ordinary person, that God was expecting to engage the king and demand their release! After a debate with God, Moses obeyed God and God reassured him that He will be with him.

In the same way, God has assignments for each one of us, big and small. An assignment that is part of His great plan. When God reveals it, it may seem way out of reach (remember Noah and the ark...), but what matters is that God will be with us every step of the way. Giving instructions every step of the way. They say God doesn't reveal the full plan to us at once, as it might be overwhelming for us. Instead, He reveals it step by step. Even Moses didn't know that they were going to hit a brick wall with the Red Sea, but what he did is exactly what we should do. Take it to God! Ask and He shall give you wisdom, He will direct you. Psalm 37:23 says the steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord. Lean on Him. Relax and take instructions. The key thing is to be obedient, the rest will follow.
