God is sharpening us...

 Isaiah 49:2

He made my words as sharp as a sword. With His own hand He protected me. He made me like an arrow, sharp and ready for use.

We all belong to the Lord and we were all created for His own will and purpose. Psalm 24:1 says that the earth is the Lord's and everything that dwells in it, we are included in that. Therefore, God created us exactly as He wanted to use us. As we continue living, facing life's circumstances, we are sharpened like a sword. Those things shape us into that which God wants us to be. And when He deems us ready, He will use us for that purpose. 

We are likened to clay, where God is a porter and like a porter molding the clay to that which they like, so does God with our lives. He continually shapes and molds us, to the images that He desires for His use. We can't question Him why He does what He does; for us is to be obedient and follow His lead. To some degree, that takes away the pressure of making mistakes in one area, because He will direct every aspect of our lives, even the mistakes, He will turn them around for our good (Romans 8:28). 

Therefore, rest in His embrace, knowing that He is our Creator, He is our designer and He'll shape us to perfection in His way and in His own time. We'll be fine!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. However, God understands that we are not perfect (and we should never pressurize ourselves to be perfect), but with the guidance we have, we know that where we fall short, we can run to the Lord without guilt or shame, knowing that He is our Father who loves us and is willing to help us every step of t

Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
