God sets the time and date...

 Acts 1:7

He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by His own authority."

These are the words that were spoken by Jesus that tells us that God is the One who sets the time for everything that happens. He knows the time and the date for everything. For us is to trust Him and remember that He has our best interest at heart. Our role or the expectation from us, is to hold on to His word, His promises which will come to pass. The bible has so many promises that we are made aware of, some might've come to pass and some are still to come. No matter how long you might've waited, remember God is not man that He would lie, the word that comes out of His mouth, can be trusted- Isaiah 55:11.

What are you trusting God on right now? With that in mind, pray about it, instead of rushing God to bring that to pass, instead thank Him in advance that He will fulfill the promises He made to you. Ask Him for grace and strength to wait on Him. His promises are worth the wait... Isaiah 40:31 says: “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” Thus, you can be rest-assured that waiting on the Lord is the best option, forget the other option and keep your eyes on the Lord- the One who never forgets, the One who is faithful and will always come through for you.

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing .
