God wants us to have the unexplainable peace

 Philippians 4:6-8 

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

This sounds like a recipe, of how to have a peaceful and healthy life. First, God urges us not to be anxious about anything, to pray about everything and give thanks for everything we have and what we are. Secondly, by so doing, we will experience this supernatural peace, one that we can't even explain, which will guard our hearts. This is the type of peace that doesn't depend on the worldly circumstances, or situations we go through, but it comes from within which we experience even during storms. That's the peace that transcends all understanding. Lastly, we get direction on what we should put our focus on. Not on the negative things, the challenge we are facing, no! But to keep our focus on positive things, things that are lovely, excellent, praiseworthy, right. Those are the things that should be in our minds.

God wants what's best for us, and He wants to take off the burden off our shoulders. Which is why we are told not to worry, we are told to receive His peace in our hearts and lastly to keep our focus on great things and forget the bad things; God will help resolve those things and make them to work out for our good (Romans 8:28).
