Find shelter in God!

 Psalm 91:1

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

God is our ultimate protection, hiding place, our defense and our covering. Like a father in the natural, where you find protection from him, it is the same with our Heavenly Father, whose arms are always open for us to find the shelter in. 

Shelter is needed in every area of our lives, from health, finances, security, to our future. Should we opt to protect ourselves, we may find ourselves vulnerable to conditions that are out of our control. I'm reminded of the story of Joseph, where God revealed to the king through dreams the famine that was coming. The king couldn't understand what the dreams meant, and that's when Joseph was brought out from prison to help out. God gave him such insight that over and above the interpretation of the dream, he was able to even give the king a strategy of how to prepare, in order for the shock not to be detrimental to the country. That's how Joseph rose to the second highest position in Egypt. This scenario shows that with God's protection, we are able to get protection from things that are still to come, that we may not even know about. But God makes a way.

Make sure you that your hope is anchored to the Most High, who will secure you from everything. Trust in Him!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
