Same attitude as Jesus...

 Philippians 2:5

You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.

One thing that has been standing out about what Jesus was all about these days, is that He was all about His Father's business. His concern was not about what will people say or do, when He does this or say that, His main concern was to accomplish what the Father had sent Him to do. 

In the same way we have been sent to accomplish some sort of a mission or assignment, in one way or the other. We could spend the rest of our lives chasing this dream and that dream, but if it's not aligned with what we were sent to do, then we would've worked in vain. We must never fool ourselves, one day when we return to our Father, we will have to account to what we have done with our lives. Did we obey and do what He asked of us to do. Someone might ask, how do I know if I'm in the will of God? That is a question God can help you figure out. Which is why in the bible, Matthew 6:33 says:  "Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need." This means, look, ask what is the will of God for you, in prayer, in reading scripture etc. God will see that you do want to know and He will reveal His will to you. 

There are so many character traits of Jesus that we can and need to adopt, as our model. By so doing, it will please our Father, whom is our priority. Never put what other people say about you above what God says about you. People won't be there on judgement day, but God will.

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
