The Lord will be our guide...

 Psalm 32:8 (NLT) 

The Lord says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.

Fear can paralyze us, keep us from doing anything. The mind starts running wild, thinking of all the possibilities of what could go wrong. However, we remember that God has not given us the Spirit of fear, but of Power, Sound Mind and of Love (2 Timothy 1:7). Therefore, it is comforting to hear of the wonderful reassurance that He will watch over us, He will guide us on the right path and He will advise us. What a wonderful Father, we have. We can trust Him as He has our best interest at heart. 

Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that His plans are to prosper us and not harm us. He is a great orchestrator.  He controls the time, the resources, the helpers and everything else. He is in charge and He knows the best route for us. May we surrender under His control and allow His plans to play out in our lives. We'll do our part and leave the rest in His capable hands.

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
