Call those things that are not, as though they were...
Romans 4:17
as it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations”—in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist.
Our Father is excellent! His word is life, it is powerful, it has resulted to everything we see today. The same way God changed Abraham's name from Abram to Abraham, which means the Father of many nations and at that time, Abraham was already old and he didn't even have any children. God wanted him to be reminded every time they call his name, of what the Lord had promised him. Indeed, God blessed him with the son He promised and he was named Isaac. This proved the prophecy, where at the time when it was spoken, it didn't exist, but because God said it, the matter was settled and everything else had to line-up to manifest the promise God had made.
In the same manner, God wants us to call those things that are not in existence, as though they were. Meaning, what God had promised you, believe it and start acting and speaking as though it had already happen. If you are sick, start thanking God for the healing, see yourself healed, strong and full of energy. In the physical it might say one thing, but believe the unseen. Everything else will line-up until what you believe God for manifest in your life. Do not contradict what God says, where God says you have the inheritance through Christ Jesus and yet you keep calling yourself poor. No, come in agreement with God and acknowledge that you are not a borrow but a lender! This is confirmed in the book of Deuteronomy 15:6 that says "For the Lord your God will bless you as He has promised you, and you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow; and you will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you." Declare it until you start believing it, and seeing it manifest in your mind, the rest will follow...
Write down some affirmations for yourself, things that God has told you and try saying them every morning, declaring them and calling them forth. This will change your mindset, and make you realize who you truly are, a child of God who has everything through Christ. In God's timing, those things will manifest. Believe!
