He can make your enemies to live in peace with you...

 Proverbs 16:7

When a man’s ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

We all want a life that is somewhat stable, with peace and no turbulence. However, we know that we have an enemy that is always out to steal kill, destroy and us; all these manifesting through the people in our surroundings. However, this word shows that there comes a time, where God steps in and make things alright for us, by covering us with peace even from our enemies. For example, in a workplace, there could be a manager that is always displeased with everything and everyone, but through the grace of God, you might find yourself working with peace with that manager. This happened to me a couple of years ago, I was amazed that from my side, there was no turbulence that most people experienced. 

I believe God is in control of everything and everyone. Remember the story of Moses and Pharaoh (in the book of Exodus), God was controlling Pharaoh's anger and stubbornness. God would send Moses to tell Pharaoh to let go of His children, but at the same time, make Pharaoh to  be stubborn and not agree to it. He fell for the trap and this led him straight to his total destruction, where they drowned and never to be seen again, due to his stubbornness. God is at times applying the pressure on us, to refine and strengthen us (like the precious metals that needs high heat to be refined). I also believe at times, God can make things easier for us, when we have passed our test, He's able to free us from that pressure and make our enemies to live in peace with us. This reminds me of the story of David and his son Solomon (book of Samuel). David had many enemies that he had to conquer, but God gave Solomon the grace to build from peace, where his father had sorted out the fighting of the enemy issue. 

So, regardless of a season you may be in, fighting the enemies or building from rest, be grateful that the Lord is using you for His will and purposes. You are part of the plan and you matter. Allow God to achieve His will through you, even in the furnace. Keep your eyes on Him, He's got the full picture and you are just a part of it; but regardless, you also make it beautiful. By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing .
