He will command His angels to guard you!

 Psalm 91:11-12

For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hand, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

What a promise this is! God will command His angels to guard you, keep and protect you. God is protective and He shows His love by sending His angels to be our guard, wherever we are. These angels are all around us, whether we are awake or asleep, at work or even at home. They are 24 hours on guard. Then why should we fear?

Mark 16:18 further confirms that even when we are put in a trap unknowingly to drink a poisoned drink, it will not hurt us due to the full-time protection. The thing about God's protection, is not only for the things we see physically and can perceive, but also for things we don't realize. God knows all and He sees all. He will use His angels to protect us, from all harm! 

Which is why we ought to give thanks to Him always, sometimes He protects us from things we didn't even see, by His grace we live! He is gracious towards us. Instead of focusing on the negative, how about we start focusing on the good things He continues to do for us. Things that goes beyond material stuff, like the peace He gives us, healing, protection, for providing for us (daily), for loving us (even when we don't deserve it), the list goes on and on. Have a heart filled with gratitude, He deserves it!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
