Power to demolish strongholds

 2 Corinthians 10:5

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

These were the words spoken by Paul to other believers; which is true indeed that the battles we face in life, are not fought using the worldly weapons but spiritual weapons which we have been given that have been proven to be effective to destroy strongholds by the power and the might of our Lord. We have the ability to use the weapons given to us, to destroy any obstacle and wickedness by the name of Jesus. Remember we do not do this out of our own power, but through the power of the One who lives in us- the Holy Spirit (1 John 4:4). Which is why we may never take glory for what God is doing in and through us, as it is His power working in us to show His might.

These weapons are described in the book of Ephesians 6 and we can access them at any time.

The greatest gift we can give ourselves, is to realize that life was never meant for us to live it on our own, but to partner with God in everything we do. This gives us an opportunity to align with the will of God and to do that which He has purposed for us. This brings an advantage to us, where He is able to guide and direct our path, clear the path for us, remove any mountains on our way and help us to be fruitful in what we do. This gift is activated the moment we realize who we are in Christ, the child of the Most High God. That's our true identify. I pray God reveals Himself in you, and show you what a powerful person you are, simply because of His Spirit that lives in you. May He show you that you CAN do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13).
