We confess that Jesus is Lord!

 Philippians 2:10-11

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

When you understand the great sacrifice that Jesus went through for us, indeed every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that He is Lord, because He is indeed. Through the act of sacrifice on the cross, we were given a weapon, which is the name of Jesus. The name that is powerful than any other, the name that is above all names. We call on His name and miracles happen, we call on His name and we are healed! There's no other like Him.

When we call on the name of Jesus, demons tremble and they flee; that's the authority that we have been given through the name of Jesus. Through the name of Jesus, we have been reconciled with our Father, we are no longer orphans but are now part of the kingdom, a royal family! This changes everything, as we see Jesus as the first born Son in God's kingdom, with all of us as siblings. Through Jesus, we get to access the inheritance of the kingdom. How awesome is that!

I pray this become a reality for you, that you realize the advantage that you have in your life, by just being a child of God. By confessing that Jesus is Lord, and by welcoming Him into your life, you have now been added into the royal family. Embrace this gift as it came as a great sacrifice from our Father who had to give up His one and only Son, for our regard (John 3:16). We are truly loved!!!

Let us remember the true meaning of Christmas

We are drawing closer to Christmas and it dawned on me that we have to take a moment and remember the true meaning of Christmas, the reason why we celebrate Christmas. On this day, we remember that the king of kings was born, our Saviour, our redeemer in whom we find ourselves free. Free to have a relationship with our Father, free from sin and death, free from bondage, free from sicknesses. That we are guaranteed an external life after death. This shows that it is indeed a BIG deal. This was the greatest gift that God gave us, one we should be grateful for, for eternity. I'm reminded of one of the oldest bible verses I learnt which is John 3:16 that tells us that God LOVED the world so much, that He gave His one and only SON, so that whoever believes in Him, will not perish but will have eternal life.
