If God be for us, who can be against us!

 Romans 8:31

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Sometimes this is all you need to know and remember! If God be for us, who can be against us? We may not be able to have everyone on our side, we may not be able to convince everyone, or make everyone like us. All that matters is that, God is on our side and He is for us. God is everything, God is our Father here on earth and most importantly He's still our Father even after life. What people say on earth, last only for a moment, but what's most important, is what does God say about us. 
As humans sometimes we can be so consumed with what will people say, how can I get them to be on my side, which can be daunting task, trying to please people as they'll only appreciate that for a moment and then they forget what you've just done and be on your case about something else again. But God is the same today and forever. He's word is never changing, what He says He will do, His word does not come out void, but it accomplishes everything it was meant to (Isaiah 55:11). He is dependable, loving and forgiving.

So, who do you choose to please? You cannot please the world and God at the same time. The two are on opposite ends in most cases. This is why having a close relationship with the Lord is so important, so that you don't get led astray but you can be able to stand firm. In Isaiah 35:4 God says: Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you.” When God says this, why would you then fear? Daddy-God has got you! Any trouble that you may face, God will come rescue you. He is trustworthy. All you have to do, is put your trust in Him, believe and receive His help. In Jesus name!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
