The gift from God: peace of mind and heart, receive it!

 John 14:27 (NLT)

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

Indeed, peace is a real gift, a gift from God to us. This is something that cannot be bought, even those with millions and billions of rands, if they don't have peace, they can't enjoy what they have. When you consider what the world goes through from time to time, whether it's the pandemics, financial downturn, poverty, inflation, job losses, corruption etc. troubles are so many. If you internalize all these, your peace is gone. Which is why we need God's peace. Peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6), which remains even when there's trouble everywhere!

When Jesus was about to return to our Father, He left us with the Holy Spirit, Who blesses us with this marvelous peace. On our own, we couldn't access it. But through Him, we can enjoy this peace. God doesn't want us to be troubled nor afraid, which is why He has gifted us with His peace. Let us take advantage of this gift. Let us activate it, call it forth, believe we have received it and continue confessing the presence thereof, and indeed it shall manifest. God expects us to believe it even when we don't see in the physical but with understanding that in the spirit, it is already done. All that is needed, it is for us declaring it and calling it forth. It shall be!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
