We received redemption through His blood!

 Hebrews 9:12

He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by His own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.

Our salvation, came through the blood of Jesus. We were redeemed by the blood of  Jesus, not of the animals that had to be scarified as was done in the olden days before Christ, but we were redeemed by the blood of Jesus. His blood was a great exchange for us with God, where through Jesus, our debts were paid, our sins were forgiven, we were set free! By His grace, when God looks at us, He doesn't see us through our sins and wrongs, but He sees us righteous because of this great exchange on the cross (2 Corinthian 5:21). 

The bible tells us that when Jesus ascended back to our Father, He left us with the Holy Spirit. And we also learn that where the Holy Spirit is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17). Now, this bags a question on why do we condemn ourselves for the wrongs of the past? Or why do we allow society condemn us of our wrongs from the past? Clearly the blood of Jesus has covered everything, we are righteous because of this blood. Also, because we have the Holy Spirit dwelling in us, we should be free indeed; not living with guilt or shame, God sorted that out with just one big sacrifice, and that was Jesus on the cross. He kept His promise to reconcile His people to Himself, now let us do our part and live like we are free because we are free indeed! It is done, it is finished! We can not add or remove anything to it, it is done. Receive your freedom and rejoice for you have been set free!!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
