Go refreshes, restores and guides us on the right path...

 Psalm 23:3

He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for His name’s sake.

This is one of the popular psalms of David, that we apply in our lives as it stands true for us. The bible shows us how David had many enemies and found himself on the run, which we can imagine that it might've taken a lot from him, on his body, spirit and soul. We realize that such fights can take a toll on the soul, which is why David recognizes that only the Lord can restore his soul. It is true for us, the Lord is the one who refreshes, revives, restores, resuscitates our soul. We ought to recognize that and invite Him to do it for us. 

Furthermore, the Lord is our guide along our path, He's interested in every bit of our life and when we surrender to Him, He is able to direct and lead us, on the path that is right for us. This is where obedience is required, to follow His leading even when we don't understand or even agree; but realizing that He is faithful and can be trusted, it makes it easier to be obedient. Take Abraham for example, from whom we can learn a lot when it comes to obedience. The bible shows him to be quite obedient, and always acting with speed, with no hesitation. With that attitude that says, if God said it, it settles it then. This is the approach we should follow, as the Lord wants to lead and guide us in all our ways, for His glory and honour. The things He may take you through might be painful, unusual, uncomfortable, but when all is said and done, it is then you will realize why it had to happen. He is a great strategist! Trust His plans, He's the creator of the entire universe afterall...

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
