He delights in showing you mercy...receive it!

 Micah 7:18

Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of His inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.

That is our God! The one who forgives and doesn't stay angry at His people forever. The bible tells us that we are righteousness of God through Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21). Thus, when God looks at us, He doesn't see our sins but He sees us through Christ who is righteous, who is blemish free, holy. Which is why by the Holy Spirit, we are strengthened, we are empowered such that we are able to exhibit the fruits of the Spirit. On our own, we couldn't.

But God is full of mercy, He delights in showing us His goodness, showering us with His kindness and peace because He loves us, He loves you! This means, you also need to forgive yourself as well, let go of your wrongs, your mistakes and disappointments. See yourself as God sees you; and I must say, God sees you as an overcomer, a special person, who is wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14); afterall, you are made in His image!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing .
