He will open the floodgates of heaven for you...

 Malachi 3:10-12

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says the Lord Almighty. “Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,” says the Lord Almighty.

Our provision and protection comes from the Lord. God asks us to put Him to test, following His commands and being obedient and watch  what He does. God is keen and willing to bless His children, to open the floodgates of heaven and release the good things for them, so much that they will not be able to contain it. The net-breaking miracles...

He further promises to protect that which He has blesses His children with, where no pests will devour their crops, which can apply to any other provision that He gives. This is very important because receiving the blessing is one thing, keeping it is another. Which is why God will prepare His children before He blesses them, so that they don't end worshipping the blessing and disregarding Him. In this case, the wilderness process is necessary and whilst going through it, it doesn't mean He has forgotten you, instead rejoice because the blessing that is on the other side is big. He is preparing you for the blessing, your promise land. Just hold on to your faith and keep your eyes on Him, He's got you...

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
