Let your light shine!

 Matthew 5:16

 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

God commanded humanity, in the book of Genesis to go and be fruitful. This means different things for different people, as God has placed us in different positions to accomplish different things. He has placed different gifts and talents within each one of us. Thus, through the Holy Spirit who is our guide, we get to accomplish that which God has assigned us to accomplish. Which is why this verse urges us to allow others to see the good deeds that are done, so that they may see what God is doing in and through you.  God allows His children to accomplish things in order for His name to be glorified, not for people to show off what they can do, because it is God accomplishing things through His children.

It's wonderful when we taste victory, however, the most critical thing is to remember Who gave you that victory. Arrogancy would say "I did it by myself" where God is not acknowledged for His works behind the scenes. Everything we do, we do it unto the Lord, so that He may be glorified. The reason for this is that God loves all His creation, all humanity. However, there are those that have gone astray and are no longer in His kingdom; hence God uses His children to show what He can do. This will, in away convince those who are not believers, so that they may also receive the gift of salvation. Therefore, everything you do, remember that God may be using you to fulfill His plans. Allow and embrace His guidance, there's always a bigger picture that we may not see (at the beginning). Just be obedient, you may save someone's soul!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing .
