Pure hearts lead to God

 Matthew 5:8

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

It sounds simple, but in practice it might not be. Keeping your heart pure, is a task that can be achieved by being plugged in with the Holy Spirit; through His power, all things are possible. As humans, a lot happens, different characters that we come across that could trigger an unbecoming behaviour, which could lead to the condition of the heart not be remain in that state. However, like David, God expects us to ask Him to search our hearts and remove anything that is not of God. This is found in Psalm 139:23-24 and it says: "Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." It's like surrendering your heart to God and allowing Him to do that which only He can. Allow Him to search your heart and test you. Test our motives, our plans and thoughts, and deal with those anxious thoughts and also see if there's any offense.

The good thing is that God understands us, the world we live in as well. That's why He made us righteous through Jesus Christ, He has already sent us the Holy Spirit that will convict us and guide us on the right path. This becoming a constant purification system. By so doing, our hearts will remain pure and thus, we will see our Father. It is important to remain attached to Christ, never to give up your faith, never to give up your position in the kingdom of God for the bible says we don't know the hour when God will call us back home. Therefore, it is up to us to stay ready at all times, let go of the anger, let go of the bitterness, learn to forgive and continuously look to Jesus for the right path.
