Being transformed into His image, from glory to glory...

 2 Corinthians 3:18

But we all, with unveiled faces, looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. 

Just as we spend more time in His presence, we start reflecting His image! We are being transformed into His image, from glory to glory. It is true what Romans 12:2 says: "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."  The more we read His word and get guidance on how to live our lives, is the more we are transformed to who God has created us to be. In the first place, God created us in His image (Genesis 1:27). Therefore, let us allow the Lord's glory to be reflected in and through our lives.

Being the hands and feet for Jesus provides an opportunity for the Lord's glory to be displayed in our lives. God commissioned us to go and be the salt and light to the world. Hence, do not dim your light to fit in, but allow the Lord to shine through you, so that people may see His presence and find salvation through you. God's plan is to reconcile all His children to Himself, just as per the original design. Every effort counts...

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
