Do good and share with those in need.

 Hebrews 13:16

And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God.

God's will for us, is a life of selflessness, of being considerate and helpful. It pleases God when we extend and become a blessing to others, particularly those that are in need. This helps God be magnified in those that are on the receiving end, where they see God blessing them through others. At the same time, God tests us if we will be open and share with others or  if we will be selfish and greedy. May the grace of God help us pass the test...

When we remember what God said to Abraham, which is also applicable to us, as His blessing flowed to us as well; where in the book of Genesis, God said He will bless him to be a blessing to others. This means, when God blesses us, it is not just for our own benefit, but that blessing is meant to also touch other people's lives. In Luke 12:48 which talks about the idea that "to whom much is given, much is required", that is the case. When more is given, God also expects more from you to stretch to others as well.

When we give however, this must not be out of a heart that is complaining and unhappy, God loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:6-7). God looks at the heart, so use the opportunity to give to those in need, as an honour and a privilege, where God has chosen and sent YOU to do that for Him. It will bring rewards unto your life. Be a blessing...

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
