Give praise and tell of all He has done

 Psalm 9:1

I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.

We are in a season of giving thanks to the Lord, for all He has done. An attitude of gratitude pleases the Lord. There is so much to be grateful for, we just need to take a moment and see. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says: "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." God says we must give thanks in ALL circumstances, not in happy circumstances but in trying circumstances too. It may sound odd, but God wants us to rejoice even when things don't seem ok, don't go our way because that is actually the time that God has an opportunity to show His power, in our lives. Where we may feel we have reached the end of the rope, it is when God intervenes, to get the honour and glory.

Praise the Lord for all He has done, for what He is currently doing (behind the scenes) and also for what He will still do in the future. He is faithful, loving, kind and gracious. He already said He will never leave us, nor forsake us. We are covered. We wait for victory, but whilst we wait, we sing praises and give thanks. Most importantly as the book of Thessalonians says, we PRAY continually!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
