Go and tell of the good news...

 Mark 16:15

And then He told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.

This is our ultimate assignment. To go and spread the good news about Christ. One may ask, what makes it good news? There's so much that can be said about that but the good news is that Christ is alive. God gave up His one and only Beloved Son to die a painful death, for us. This sealed the promise that God is for us and with us. That now we ca come boldly at His throne with no shame or fear of being condemned and rejected all because of the blood of Jesus that was shed on the cross. The good news is that His pain, the stripes H endured on the cross, is our healing (Isaiah 53:3-5). That we shall not die no more, we have been saved, our salvation was secured by Him on the cross. Also that we are forgiven, God doesn't see our sins but He sees us as His righteousness, not as a result of our works, but because of Jesus who paid it all (2 Corinthians 5:21). But most importantly that He is alive, He conquered the grave and all prophecy came true. Hallelujah!

 And the list goes on...of the good news. Thus, the Lord has asked that we spread these news so that more and more people can see the light. Be drawn to the kingdom of light. The way you carry yourself, is one way that can lead people to the Lord. Testifying of His goodness is another. Basically, as the Spirit leads, let it be. Allow God to use you to bring light to the world.

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. However, God understands that we are not perfect (and we should never pressurize ourselves to be perfect), but with the guidance we have, we know that where we fall short, we can run to the Lord without guilt or shame, knowing that He is our Father who loves us and is willing to help us every step of t

Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
