Love covers multitudes of sins...

 1 Peter 4:8

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

This is another instruction from God, to love one another as we are told that love covers multitudes of sins. When you think about it, what God did for us by sacrificing His Son for us, that was love (John 3:16) where that act of love, resulted to multitudes of our sins to be covered and forgiven. A powerful and noble act. Therefore, God as our Father, He wants us to display similar characteristics like Him, which one of them is to show love to one another.

We may recall the two commandments that Jesus simplified from the law of Moses in Mark 12:30-31 where Jesus said: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.” This talking about love, which shows the importance thereof. Over and above loving God with our everything, we are commanded to love each other. It might be a difficult thing to do, but we must remember, it is why we have the Holy Spirit, to guide and help us. But also I like what the second commandment which also implies that we must love ourselves. That is also important! Love God, love yourself and love your neighbors!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing .
