May the Lord give you His favour and peace

 Numbers 6:26

May the LORD show you His favor and give you His peace.

Favour gives you an advantage that you didn't deserve, access to things that you didn't work for. Thus, the favour of God, can allow you to be favoured amongst the rest, chosen for something that you didn't deserve. God knows that here on earth, our strength and influence can be limited, where we find ourselves the mercy of other people. But when you are a child of God, all you do is seek God and His kingdom and He will work out the rest (Matthew 6:33). He will take care of you, because you take care of His kingdom. Being selfish doesn't work in the kingdom of God. Seeking His kingdom can include you disregarding your needs and wishes, and going after what God has assigned you, which could be taking care of someone else's needs. However, the good news is that as you do that, God takes care of your needs and more. He will give you an advantage where you didn't deserve it.

Also, in the times we are living in, where there's turmoil and anxiety about almost everything. Food prices increase, fuel increase, job losses, sicknesses etc. which could stress many. However, when the Lord is on your side, He will give you His peace that surpasses all understanding (according to Philippians 4:6). This is when you rest in Him, where you trust Him and His plans completely as you know He is there with you and for you. 

This is my wish for you, for God to give you favour and give you His peace. Everything else will be taken care of...

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
