You cannot please God without faith...

 Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

The currency in the kingdom of God, is faith. Hebrews 11:16 says we cannot please God without faith, we may do all sorts of things trying to live a holy life, but if we do not have faith in Him, we cannot please Him, it is a waste. If you can recall that after God gave His only Son for us, the law was cancelled where during the times of Moses, it was about what you do to please God, following law and repenting and offering sacrifice to ask for forgiveness. It was all about what you can do, to please God. But what Jesus did for us, it is no longer about what we can do, it is already done. For us, we just need to believe; believe in the unseen, believe the word of God. Basically believing in the unknown, but having that full confidence in what God has said, by faith. 

Our job is to do things that strengthens our faith, like soaking ourselves in the word of God, being expectant of what God will do and looking to Him. The more you hear the word of God and declaring it for your self, it is when you start seeing the evidence of His presence in your life. Psalm 121:-1-2 reminds us of where our help comes from, don't allow the enemy to steal the seed that has been planted in your heart. Keep your faith and fight for your faith, anchor your hope in Him and you are guaranteed victory.

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing .
