His word will not return void...

 Isaiah 55:11

It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.

This is very important. God has some amazing promises for us, which are hidden in the bible. However, a lot of people miss out as they do not encounter them and others don't receive them. In the book of Hosea 4:6, God says His people perish as a result of lack of knowledge. This is very sad and shouldn't be. Our generation is truly blessed, that we are self-sufficient, we had an opportunity to go to school to learn how to read and write (something we may take for granted which for some of us, our parents never got such an opportunity). It is with this advantage that we should seek Him, seek His word and hear what He has to say to us. Perishing because of lack of knowledge because we are lazy to read or too busy to read is futile to our well being and our future. It's like having an advantage, an inheritance that is sitting and waiting for you to claim. If you don't, you continue with the struggle, eventhough you have an inheritance in your name. Obviously it is wise to claim your inheritance and enjoy the benefits that you are blessed with.

The word of God is that treasure to us, it is life and sharper than the double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Meaning, you can use it to destroy the schemes of the enemy that blocks you, you can use it to bring healing unto your life or that of someone else, you can receive the life in abundance that Jesus came to give you (John 10:10). But we will miss out if we don't know what God has in store for us. Hence, this bible verse, tells us that the word of God that He has sent out, it will achieve that which He means for it to achieve. If God has promised you that you shall be blessed to be a blessing, then it shall be, as His word will not return void!

Know who you are, Whose you are and what He has gifted you with!
