God is calling on us to be bold!

 Isaiah 41:10

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

God is calling on us to not be afraid, nor be discouraged but to be bold. This could be in any area of our lives, where we may feel led to stretch and come out of comfort zone. We know we serve a Mighty God, who is able to do all things; this requires us to think big and ask big from Him. He is waiting on the other side to hold us up with His strong right hand and allow us to be victorious. Of course, the enemy is not going to like that, because he wants us to play small, look down on ourselves and live a mediocre life. This is why God is calling us to not be afraid. 2 Timothy 1:7 says: "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" Fear comes from the enemy and boldness, power comes from the Spirit of God. When faced with a "David vs Goliath", remember what God says, He is with you, holding you up with His right hand. Victory is secured!

I pray the Lord releases His Spirit upon us and fill us with His boldness, as we start this new year; may we have the boldness He requires of us, to make those bold moves. To remove limits off Him and off ourselves. Remember 1 John 4:4 tells us that greatness lives in us. May the Spirit guide and help us in every step of the way.

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
