Keep yourself in the love of God

 Jude 1:20-21

But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.


Keeping a close relationship with God, is the ultimate answer. Through prayer, scripture readign, praise and worship are some of the key elements of mainting and strengthening the relationship with God. By so doing, He is able to release His mercy and grace. Furthermre, these acts, help us believe in the One that we don't see in the natural state but by faith; subsequently this secures us an eternal life. We are because of our Father, He is our Creator, the One who gave us the breath we breathe every single day. He is in control of everything, because the world and everything in it, belongs to Him (Psalm 24:1). He is the One whom by His mercy, we get to see another day. May we never take it for granted but in all things, acknowledge Him and praise Him.


Let us make ourselves available vessels, for the Lord to use to show His glory and power, to show that He is who He says He is. The One who is the same yestrday, today and forever more. Let us be a conduit of blessings from the Lord to everyone and also be an example of what God's heart looks like to everyone. Let us be the instruments in His hands and be available to point His children to Him. Afterall, it is a privilege to be a child of the Most High, an apple of His eye...

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
