In our weaknesses, we are strong!

 2 Corinthians 12:10 (NLT)

That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

This may sound the opposite but according to God, when we are weak, actually that's when we are strong because of God's grace that covers us and enables us. The world may take pleasure in making us suffer, persecuting us and insulting us, due to the way we do things, where we live by faith and not by sight and always keeping our eyes on Him; however, this verse reminds us that actually we must rejoice when this happens, because God fuels us with His power and makes us strong (at our weakness). In fact, 1 Peter 5:10 says: "In His kindness God called you to share in His eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, He will restore, support, and strengthen you, and He will place you on a firm foundation." This means, because you suffer for Christ, you will also share in Christ's glory, where He will restore you, support and strengthen you and also place you on firm foundation. This is all so important, as we remain in the kingdom of God, we can enjoy His protection for when His wrath come over the earth due to the sinful nature that the world has turned out to be.

May we never underestimate or take for granted the importance of being "under His wings", we live in troubled times and on our own, we could not make it. Psalm 91 declares that He is with us, protecting us day and night, which is for that reason that we are able to sleep peacefully at night, and make it just fine in the morning. It is not our doing, but the grace of God. Ensure that you strengthen your relationship with God, religious practices won't cut it when  God calls you back home, you need to have built the relationship with Him, which is why He sent us Jesus, to allow us that opportunity. Make use of it and let it bear fruits for you now and in eternity!
