He is the One who holds our heads up high!

 Psalm 3:3

But you, O LORD, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the One who holds my head high.

Amen, amen! God is so gracious, He is our everything. If we only knew from what God is protecting us from, we would praise Him with all our hearts. Behind the scenes, there are battles that God is blocking for us, fighting for our regard. The sooner we realize that we are at war, with the enemy, the sooner we can appreciate our Protector, which is our Heavenly Father. The moment you confessed Jesus is Lord, that was the day you became the enemy to the devil. 1 Peter 5:8 says: "Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour." This shows us that the enemy is behind us, and we need to be on guard, at all times. And someone may ask, why me? I'm learning that the devil is actually not after your current state or status, but the potential that is within you, the treasure that God has deposited in you, to be unleashed when the time is right. The "future you". This puts it into perspective, that indeed the devil has a reason to get worried, as the moment God breaks forth for you, you'll be untouchable, unshakable! The change agent that God will use to bring glory to His kingdom! And that's how you should see yourself, very valuable! Full of treasure!

So, as the bible verse above says, hold your head up high, because God says so! He is in control and He will bring victory for you in every situation you may be facing. He has a purpose and a future for you, as alluded to in Jeremiah 29:11. With all these promises that God makes in the bible, receive them and believe for yourself! This according to Mark 11:24. They will manifest!

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing . That in our own strength, we wouldn't have been able to achieve those thigs, gotten favoured or have that opportunity come through.
