Jesus, the bread of life! Never go hungry with Him on your side!

 John 6:35

Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to Me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in Me will never be thirsty.

This is the best news that we should always embrace, He is the bread of life! When you read few verses before this one, it was actually where one of the miracles that Jesus performed, where He fed over 5000 people with just five loaves of bread and 2 fish! Even the disciples each had a basket of leftovers to take home, how amazing! 

This shows that with God on your side, you are covered, you have the ultimate Source. God has been teaching me about this that He owns everything in this world, everything belongs to Him, and anything is possible with Him. He is not limited, instead, He is able to move around resources for our regard. The most important thing is not to put our faith on something or someone, as our source. For example, make your employer your source, because should there be retrenchments (God-forbid) the source is gone. However, if you make God your source, the job can disappear but still have all your needs covered! This is actually a real-life testimony for me! God came through for me (when I got retrenched) but I never slept on the streets, went to bed hungry or anything of that sort. God provided!

Therefore, believe Him when He says, He is the bread of life. With Him, we can never go hungry, and we can never thirst. Even if you may have any ailments, go to Him for healing; having difficulty at work, go to Him for help. He will direct you and pull you out of the tough situation. I believe! Do you believe?

By knowing Christ, we get a chance of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. By coming to know Christ, learning about Him in the word, we now have the ability to live a Godly life. This means by God's divine power, He has equipped us with the relevant information and teachings, on how we are to live our lives. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent to be our role model, our example of the things the Lord expects to see in us and to see in our daily walk here on earth. These things allow us to live a life that is acceptable in His eyes. Let us tell of the wonderful things He has done!

 Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. And that is called a testimony, telling of the wonderful  things that the Lord has done! With God on our side, we have  an advantage, where we are protected from certain things, where God ochestrates things for us so that they work in our favour (Romans 8:28). He heals us, He provides for us, He opens and closes doors and so much more. Which is why the only two things that we can do to show gratitude for all that He does for us, is first to recognize His role in the whole thing .
